I meant to do an anime review for everything I finished in 2005 in December like I did at the end of 2004, but....I watched too much stuff or something.
So here's part 1/3 (probably) of the stuff I watched.
EDIT: Jan 29th - removed all mp3s 8D
Re: Cutie Honey

Re: Cutie Honey is one of my favorite OAVs. As far as the story goes, it's pretty much the same as the movie. I also prefer the Re:/Live Action universe because the original/Flash isn't as interesting with its school setting and Shin is just...odd.
The Re: apparently stands for 'Return' and 'Renewal', and I've heard it nicknamed Retro: Cutie Honey too. And while the universe is the newer one, it does have lots of elements that are an homage to the original, like the music and the art (done in that 'new-old' style, kind of like Glass Mask 2005), the backgrounds, and some of the funky camera angles. Unfortunately it really only stays like that in the first volume...maybe people complained or something >_> But in the last two eps, it was far more typical of today's anime, which was really too bad, since I liked the style of ep 1 more. I guess it had something to do with episode one being the main establisher and set-up, and the last two were more story based and they didn't feel that they could incorporate the retro style in the story telling.....? I don't really see why though.
The animation was rather disappointing. I dunno if that's that typical of most GAINAX shows, since I tend to avoid their stuff, but it had some nice animation in the 3rd ep. Still, it could have been better, or they could have used more camera angles like that in the first ep.
I prefer Honey from the original the most, because she's...a coquettish delinquent? And the new Honey is just a big-hearted ditz. (And I still don't think Horie Yui is really Honey material). But I guess that works better for her relationship with Aki Natsuko (who is...next to non-existent in the original and is this awful thing in Cutie Honey Flash), so I suppose it's a fair tradeoff (because LA/OAV-verse Nacchan is one of the most wonderful things ever). And Seiji is, as usual, pretty useless all around.
Overall it's pretty much just silly with lots (LOTS) of jiggly boobies, girls not wearing/losing their clothes for some reason (Honey's clothes melt away when she loses energy, like in Ultimate Girls 8D), and plenty of yuri subtext between Honey and Nacchan. If that doesn't scare you away, then I highly recommend it.

Cast list: Horie Yui, Noda Junko, Ishikawa Hideo, Ikura Kazue, some other people.
favorite character: Aki Natsuko (Nacchan)
favorite pairing: Honey x Nacchan

Kannazuki no Miko

Kay, if you know me, you already know that I FUCKING HATE Kannazuki no Miko.*** But even I get tired of beating a dead horse (hopefully Chikane's), so....I'll skip most of everything I've already said about it. Let's focus on the good stuff!
(edit 2007) ***Actually, since it's been so long since I've seen it, all my hate for it has worn away. I still think it's a really dumb show =D, but generally I find it hard to continually bear a grudgeover an anime omg animu iz srs bzns forever and ever. Now I look back on it with an almost nostalgic fondness, like how you might remember some kid from elementary school that you HATED, but now you just kinda laugh to yourself and think "yeah, that one kid, MAN he was a dumbshit. I wonder what he's doing now?"
The above pics represent roughly everything I did like about the show. That is, Tsubasa (who's hot), Miyako (who's hot and is an evil character voiced by Ootani Ikue, and evil characters voiced by Ootani Ikue make me hot and bothered. And want to laugh), and uh, the gay brotherly angst between Tsubasa and Souma.

Also, I enjoyed the scenes of Yukihito hitting on Souma. The show should have focused on that instead, so at least I could have spent the 12 episodes laughing my ass off instead of wanting to mutilate Himeko and Chikane.
The good: I liked the badguys. Okay, well, Tsubasa and Miyako. I didn't care about the rest of the Orochi. The show has relatively consistent good art all throughout (and I do rather like the art style), and some nice music. Despite the really stupid plot and sick attempts to make it 'deep', it at least....'makes sense' in the end. That is, it doesn't go off and become a completely different stupid story at least.
The bad:

And I actually.....feel really really sorry for Souma, the stupid moron 8D
Cast list: Kawasumi Ayako (who I'm always stuck between hating and changing my mind when she does a character I like), Shitaya Noriko, Majima Junji (whose claim to fame is that he sounds like Seki Tomokazu when screaming), Ootani Ikue, Matsumoto Yasunori, Noto Mamiko, Ueda Kana, Nonaka Ai, Minami Omi
favorite character: Tsubasa. Miyako is second.
favorite pairing: Anything NOT Chikane x Himeko. Miyako -> Tsubasa -> Souma <- Yukihito.

Maria-sama ga Miteru ~haru~

...Those were the only caps I took during the entirety of ~Spring~. orz
I don't remember much about MariMite haru, really. It wasn't as good as the first. Basically more of a "been there, done that", with some new characters that I didn't like that much and Yumi pissing me off for the whole second half of the show. Plus Sei cut her hair =A=
But the overall high art/music quality was retained, the dramatic atmosphere was intensified, and there was plenty of gay: and Sachiko confesses her love for Yumi in the last episode. Kinda.
I'm looking forward to the upcoming OAV though. I hope Sachiko's gay cousin is in it.
Cast list: Ueda Kana, Itou Miki, Shinohara Emi, Ikezawa Haruna, Itou Shizuka, Nabatame Hitomi, Toyoguchi Megumi, Noto Mamiko, Shimizu Kaori, Hiyama Nobuyuki
favorite character: Yoshino
favorite pairing: Yoshino x Rei. Rei is uke.

Baby Love

Uh...this was one of those Ribon OAVs for the manga of the same name. I read bits and parts of Baby Love when I was subscribing to Ribon, and I didn't like it. Mainly because I really REALLY didn't like Seara, and although I tend to like stalker!pairings, I just didn't...give a damn about Seara stalking her "Shuu-chan". Actually I don't like most 'simply romance' stories in Ribon anyway. (Penguin Brothers by the same mangaka is much better).
Cast list: Kasahara Hiroko, Takeuchi Junko, Madono Mitsuaki, a bunch of other people I don't care about.
favorite character: Koharu is the only character worth liking
favorite pairing: go away

Meine Liebe (Gin'yuu Mokushiroku Meine Liebe)
Uh. Heh. Where do I start with Meine Liebe? How about a quote I swiped from somewhere?
"Y'know how American cartoons like Scooby Doo and Animaniacs have an overlying premise, then every episode is them getting into random and wacky situations that usually have nothing at all to do with the previous episode?" It just amused me so I copy-pasted it somewhere. And because it oddly fits. The person was actually talking about Galaxy Angel.
I was rather looking forward to the show before it started, because it's based on a dating sim for girls, and I really love the uber silly and uber girly lovesims. STFU. I even got my hands on the GBA ROM and had fun going through it a couple times.

Bad ending yey!
The show, (which is a BEE TRAIN show, BTW, and Bee Train is special in that you either hate it, think their shows are all boring as almighty god, think their shows are REALLY boring as almight god, or kind of like them) isn't based on the game story (since there really isn't one), so they kind of made up their random story about political intrigue in the early 1900s (?) of a made up country whose name means 'cake' in German. Actually when you think of it like that, it's probably one of the best game-made-anime shows out there.
Really, the characters and situations are quite silly, but they make it up to be OMFG OVERDRAMATIC, helped by the INSANELY SWELLING AND DRAMATIC MUSIC (which is surprisingly not by Kajiura Yuki, despite being Bee Train, but still really good), and the overall result is me giggly madly while the characters are all "GASP! *ANGST!*" It's for this reason that, although everyone (who isn't just an OMGBISHIES!fangirl) who's seen it think it's really effing boring, I ended up enjoying the whole thing. In fact, to be honest the only episode that actually bored me was episode 4 with Naoji and the Japanese poet or whatever the hell it was.
Slashfans had a fieldday, I'm sure, although I tend to hate yaoi pairings amongst characters from girl dating sims, so if you try to argue that point with me, I'll kill myself and take you with me. The only thing I'll happily acknowledge as being the Almighty Gay was the Dandy Principal and his lovely ringlets. He's also the only character I'll slash. ...Albeit with every single male in the series wut. Dandy Principal x Beruze OTP.

...okay, and Ludwig and Camus, but only because they're cousins. But not when they were shota. Although the show would have benefitted from more shota scenes of the cast. Because OMG THEY WERE SO CUTE.
Uh, that was rather incoherent.

To sum it up: Meine Liebe appears to be way too dramatic, giving it an overall comic atmosphere (maybe just to me, although I honestly believe that's what the creators were aiming for). It has very good music and the art remains really pretty and relatively high quality all throughout the series, 'interesting' characters (if you don't find them boring). The heroine from the games, Erika, is also there as fanservice for the people who played the game (although she has no significance to the plot), and there are more random Prince of Tennis seiyuu than you can shake a stick at (which is amusing if you like seiyuu crossover crack. Dandy Principal = Sanada, Beruze = Muromachi, King = Sakaki Tarou, King's Brother = Higashikata, I seem to recall Yuuta's seiyuu (among a number of others) voicing minor characters, and of course Naoji = Mizuki & Camus = Gakuto). I even wrote a crack fic starring Dandy Principal Sanada somewhere (it had nothing to do with Meine Liebe besides that though).
And although I likely badmouth the show here and there, I really did enjoy it (for all the wrong reasons). And you can bet I'm looking forward to Meine Liebe ~Wieder~ (which starts....in a week or so? Yey! What.)
Cast list: Sakurai Takahiro, Seki Toshihiko, Seki Tomokazu, Ishida Akira, Hoshi Souichirou, Koyasu Takehito, Kusunoki Taiten, other peeplz
favorite character: Ludwig (Lui) because he was the biggest dick of them all. The episode where he basically says that womenfolk should stay in the kitchen where they belong had me ROLLING.

Shinshaku Sanada Ju Yuushi -The Animation Special-

This is uh....like a precursor special to the TV series, which I never watched. I guess it was about Sanada Yukimura or whatever, but I've never been a big fan of historical Japanese stuff, so I don't know any details.

That was obviously the best scene in the special.
Although whenever I hear Sanada Ju Yuushi (which I assume means something along the lines of The 10 Heroes of Sanada?) I always think about this one doujin comic by Kousaka Rito, which involves Oshitari explaining to Gakuto about the history of Sanada Yukimura and Gakuto thinking about Sanada Gen'ichirou and 10 Oshitaris. It's cute (but I didn't feel like looking for the book it was in =_=)

Koi Kaze

Those were the only two caps I took. Heh.
Anyway. Koi Kaze. WTF. WTFingF.
Loser working man meets a young high school girl. Turns out she's his (not exactly long lost) sister and she's going to live with him and their dad. It has some vaguely disturbing moments but wasn't that bad to begin. Some parts were even actually quite funny.
Then it takes a fucking head-dive into the deeply disturbing and becomes darker and creepy and highly incestuous. I'm not a big fan of incest, so I found this...uh, really disturbing.
Sure, they hinted at it in the beginning, but because of the overall light-hearted atmosphere, I thought it'd just be a slightly uncomfortable comedy. Then it goes into the angst and seems to be building up each episode so as to make you hate the two main characters.
The brother and sister go through some self-hate (well, mainly the brother). The sister spouts out the winning line "Why can't siblings fall in love with each other?" Nothing is solved in the end, and IIRC, they only come across one person who realizes what's going on and shuns them.
I'm also not sure what the hell they were trying to say with this. Incest is bad? Incest is just another form of misunderstood love and we should feel sorry for them? No thank you.
And if you're wondering, the brother and sister do indeed have sexx0rz. Yey.
Cast list: Uhh....I don't remember.
favorite character: Chidori. The only normal person in the show.
favorite pairing: Definitely not the main pairing in the show 8D

Cinderella Boy

I seem to have a habit of taking just two random caps of an entire series.
Cinderella Boy is about Ranma and Rella, who run a detective agency. While on a case, they get into a bad accident. A random passerby doctor saves them with special skills that combines the two into one body, and at the stroke of midnight, the one turns into another.
It's by Monkey Punch (of Lupin III fame).
Not much to say. I like detectives, so I enjoyed this. It's not very serious; mainly amusing but with plenty of action as Ranma and Rella go about solving cases while trying to find a way to get back to normal.
Cast list: Koyasu Takehito and Touma Yumi are the only ones I remember (Ranma and Rella)
favorite character: meh

Genshiken

A story about college anime otaku. That's all there was to it. Never went anywhere, mainly comedy, showing many aspects of otaku-dom and the people who hate them. The main schtik to this was probably how everyone in the club would aggravate Kasukabe each episode.
....it's actually quite a lot like Honey and Clover, in a demented, twisted, sick, and actually-not-that-related-at-all way when you think about it.

There is apparently going to be a second season, possibly incorporating a new character who is an INSANE YAOI FANGIRL. YES! That's the element that was missing from the first season, because Ohno was more into cosplay and muscley bald, older men.
Includes an Ishida Akira character. Who sings. That was special.
Cast list: Yukino Satsuki, Saiga Mitsuki, Hiyama Nobuyuki, Kawasumi Ayako, Seki Tomokazu, Ueda Yuuji, Kobayashi Sanae
favorite character: Kasukabe, Madarame

Pita-Ten

Pita-Ten is a story about Misha, the most retarded, fucking annoying angel ever, who comes to earth to study and aggravate the shit out of a boy named Kotarou. It quickly goes into an episodic formula from there, largely incorporating the humor and other hijinx from Misha's stupidity and a couple of other characters who you probably want to tear the vocal chords out of. All the fanboys like Shia, proving that they have no taste because Shia HAS NO PERSONALITY TO SPEAK OF.
It mainly tries to be cute and wonky throughout most of the show and attempts to climax it with a highly out of place, dramatic end, only to turn out to be a total cop-out (hate hate HATE endings like that. If they were just going to do it like that, they shouldn't have bothered with the crappy angst in the FIRST place).
Eh, it's not *THAT* bad, and I didn't actually hate Misha, despite what I said up above, but I think the manga is better, because I read the first volume (of Tokyopop's ass translation), and it appeared to have more of a coherent story.
I still suggest watching Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar instead though. It's a lot better.

Scrapped Princess

I've already talked about Scrapped Princess here and there, so I don't really feel like going into much detail.
Cons: I don't think the show is nearly as good as everyone else says it is. I didn't think the plot was that great to begin with, but on top of that it had lots of cool characters who didn't get enough backstory, dumber characters that did, oddly pointless badguys, and then the ending that was just a steaming pile of cowpie. I never thought the story was that bad, but that huge deus ex machina ending just kind of rendered the entire plot pointless.
It was half flowing/half episodic, which wouldn't have been that bad, but the way they executed it, it seemed to hamper the epicness that a fantasy show like this should have.
The Shannon-Pacifica angst was done rather poorly and annoyingly. Pacifica had potential to be one of my favorite characters, but it was mainly that that turned me majorly off from her, and she never really redeemed herself and Shannon was...heh. I'll never like him again.

Pros: It's not a bad story. Would've been a lot better with a better ending and less Pacifica-Shannon annoyingness. It had nice art all throughout and interesting fights. Don't remember the music being that special.
When it had comedy, the comedy was brilliant. And it had two really well done, poignant character deaths.
Conclusion: I still say that a lot of its flaws (some random subplots that don't go anywhere, need for more character backstories, stupid Peace Makers, craptastic ending) could have been fixed if SutePuri was a console RPG instead of an anime. (But then there's also the fact that while I love RPGs, I don't like most fantasy-anything else, like anime and novels).
Cast list: Orikasa Fumiko, Miki Shin'ichirou, Oohara Sayaka, Mizuhashi Kaori, Mizushima Takahiro, Kawasumi Ayako, Kondou Takashi, Nakai Kazuya, Neya Michiko, Hanba Tomoko, Konishi Katsuyuki, Matsuoka Yuki, Minami Omi

Now and Then, Here and There (Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku)

Now and Then, Here and There, on the other hand, was amazing. I randomly downloaded it on a lark, but once I started watching I got sucked in until the very last episode. It's just that good.
Shu seems to be your typical stupid and overly optimistic shounen hero. He encounters a mysterious girl named Lala-Ru and gets sent to another world when the people who're after her find her on Earth. There he's thrown into a war-stricken land where water is scarce and the main group with power is led by one of the most batshit insane dictators you've ever seen. They're after Lala-Ru because she's able to control and create water, and Shu vows to protect and help her escape.
It's not a complex plot, and it doesn't need to be, as it's the characters and themes that move the story. The themes are dark, but played out very, very well; the show's not simply dark for the sake of being dark (most shows which are are usually pretty crappy). The show overall is very serious and grim.
It also has a strong cast of characters, each who plays out his or her own role well. The art is kind of drab, but the music is good.
The show does require quite a bit of suspension of disbelief on the part of the viewer, though. Like, despite everything that's happened and all that he's seen, how can Shu continue to uphold his optimism (because 'because he's simple minded' doesn't quite cut it considering some of the things that happen in the show). Why do Abelia and everyone follow Hamdo's every beck and call? I could only guess that at one point he was quite the charismatic leader that descended into his insanity, but that's never actually shown. They just follow him. And...there's a scene with a...gunslinging girl, if you will that's just "WTF" and made me ROFL.
Random fun trivia: EVERY SINGLE LAST CHARACTER that I like in this show (and I actually had quite a few) DIES (or 'disappears', in one case) by the end. Well, a number of characters that I don't like too 8D But yeah, not a single exception. WHEEEEE!!!
Cast list: Okamura Akemi, Nazuka Kaori, Imai Yuka, Suyama Akio, Konishi Hiroko, Matsumoto Rica, Yasuhara Reiko, Ishii Kouji

Melody of Oblivion (Boukyaku no Senritsu)
....gets big caps.

...MoO is sheer, utter BRAIN RAPE. When I watched the first two episodes or so, I think my overall reaction was "OMG WTFingF" and proceded to rant about how completely stupid it was.
Then I kept watching. And grew to like it. Mainly because of Hor. Actually his name is probably romanized 'Hol', but I'll forever call him 'Hor' because it's funnier.

There's an underlying story in there somewhere. It just has a FREAKING MOUNTAIN of WTF CRACK covering it. I think it requires another viewing to be able to pick it out.
But to discover it, you first need to get through episode 21 and the BIO-CONCERTO.

Caps do not do the Bio-Concerto episode justice. It must actually be seen to be appreciated.
Uh. Review. Review? The show has some really nice music and the art remains nice all throughout. It has some of the weirdest characters ever, some of the weirdest situations ever, and a ton of crap that makes no sense whatsoever. Sayoko was the only character I didn't really like (maybe because she was too normal). Hor is one of the hottest Morikubo characters ever. He eats children and drives both a bull-bus and a bull-jeep in the show. Unless you demand a strong plot that makes perfect sense and are one of those boring people who don't like crack, it's impossible for you not to be entertained by at least some aspect of the show.

Solo is hot.
......
And I have a request: On this OST there was a song called "Solo no Uta" (vocal: Saeki Tomo) that I put up for download before. Except uh, I lost it myself, so for anyone reading this that downloaded the song from me; could you possibly upload it somewhere for me to get again? 8D;;; I'd love you if you did. It's one of my favorite Aniki songs.

Aishiteruze Baby

...was pretty damn crappy. It just had a stupid, uneven mixture of themes.
They focus largely on the pedotastic features of it all, of how sickeningly cute Yuzuyu is, of how disgustingly cute her reactions to something is, of how much it makes you feel like vomiting onto Yuzuyu's cute little face because she's just so "cute", and then WHAM, it becomes 90210 (90210...does that show my age? =A= Melrose Place? I used to watch that crap 8D) with Kippei and Kokoro making out on the stairs at school.
Then they'd go back to the stupid cute shit, while trying to incorporate these 'real-life' situations like child abuse and suicidal teenagers. Seriously, WTF? It wasn't only that; those arcs were executed rather poorly, with the other characters reacting unbelievably or just stupidly (OMG Noooo, little Shouta is being beat by his mommy; Kippei's gonna go cry on Kokoro's shoulder!)

(She bruised INSTANTLY when he slapped her. That must be some insane megaton slapping, and I LedMFAO at that scene).
Kay, normally in shoujo anime, the cutesy shows stick with the cutesy themes and the more 'mature' girly shows stick with the mature girly themes. It may work in the manga, because they can be a tad more flexible and less censored, but it was just WEIRD in the anime. Oh, and the animation was ass-tastic. The animators had bloody no idea how to draw anatomy, and half the time the people's faces were the things of nightmares. They were beyond ugly.
Plus the show has an amazing array of unlikeable characters. Kippei manages to be wonderfully stupid and boring. Kokoro is just an unlikeable bitch. Her sobstory past did nothing for me and I hate her friends. I want Yuzuyu to die a horrid death. Plus she has to cry...every...single...episode. And yeah, her seiyuu was only 9 at the time, but that doesn't change the fact that SHE CAN'T ACT. Especially WHEN SHE WAS CRYING, which was at least ONCE EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.

Marika was a way better character than any of them combined.

The phallic popsicle licking was both disturbing (Yuzuyu) and highly amusing (Kippei) though.
Cast list: Nobody worth mentioning beside Kiuchi Hidenobu, and he only had a couple lame oyaji roles.
favorite character: The suicidal teenager Miki, surprisingly. Followed by Marika
favorite pairing: Pedophile x Yuzuyu, Mack truck x Kokoro, Popsicle x Kippei

MADLAX

Uh, damn. I had a mini write-up on MADLAX, but I deleted it, and now I can totally not remember anything about it.
Anyway, MADLAX is basically a James Bond x Indiana Jones Lesbian love child on crack.
And like most Bee Train shows, it's looooong and drawwwwn out before it gets to the point, but it stops to highlight really random and stupid symbols along the way (OMG the RED SHOES!). There's plenty of yuriness and crazy gunfighting to keep one entertained, so long as all that drawn-outness doesn't bore you (I tend to like Bee Train shows despite myself, so I'm usually okay. Only one that really got to me was Tsubasa Chronicle).
It has that nice art and use of color that I tend to really like in Bee Train shows, and it has Kajiura Yuki doing the music (the MADLAX OST is probably her best work so far)

It actually has a rather interesting plot, if you can make it that far before the oddness and the pretentiousness (and a villain with the REALLY stupid name of 'Monday Friday') doesn't get to you first. I really rather liked the show. (Though I'm in no hurry to rewatch it any time soon).
You can't go wrong with any of the MADLAX songs.

Street Fighter II the movie

Eh, I never was much into Street Fighter. I played the original SFII for SNES way back in the 5th grade...and I've seen the cheesey Hollywood movie...and a bit of Street Fighter II V.
...Okay, I only watched this because this was the original version, i.e. the non-censored version, i.e. the one that shows Chun Li's boobies in the shower. But uh, other than that it has some nice art for being an older movie and some cool fights.

Candy Candy movie

...Yeah, I download a lot of random shit and watch it. Anyway, I haven't seen the original Candy Candy (can you even find it online?), but I'm assuming that the movie is more or less a digest and/or retelling of the overall story. Candy is an orphen, but she's fast approaching the age where she can't stay at the orphanage anymore, so she goes to be a companion/maid for these rich snobby brats, but randomly comes across some really nice rich boys, one of whom she falls in love with? Also, she comes across an old orphanage friend who was apparently adopted into a noble family. Or something.
...not much else to say. The art is kind of crappy for a '92 remake.

The Jump Festa OAV....just like the title says. Yep. It's pretty entertaining, with a match that I don't think is in the manga (?), although I prefer the subdued colors of the TV version to this. It's a little too...vibrant.
I also prefer the TV voices, but I think I'm in the minority here.

Sensitive Pornograph

....HAHAHAHA. There is no real point to me adding Sensitive Pornograph to these reviews, but the damn thing makes me guffaw every time it's simply mentioned. I've already talked about this elsewhere, so let's copy-paste what I said then:
Basic story: Seiji is a shounen mangaka. He meets up with Sono, who is a seinen mangaka. Whaddya know; they both enjoy each other's works. And they're both like, horny, and Sono is too girly for my tastes, in both looks and personality. They hook up and there is much sexx0rz. Seiji hears from one of his buds that Sono will apparently sleep with anyone who asks him to, and he's like omg shocked. He goes and asks Sono about it, Sono admits to it, Seiji is all hurt or some crap and runs off. Sono comes around with a sob story; ("omg normally everyone thinks I'm a girl cause of my name, and when they meet me they're like 'wtf' and I'm all hurt and crap, but YOU were different! Wai wai, lets go have make up sex!") and they do and everyone's happy.
Besides me who wants to tear out an eyeball each from them.

I still like the second story a lot more. Especially the ass-stepping-on-WHEE!-look-at-the-cum-oo ze-out scene.

Kannazuki no Miko

(edit 2007) ***Actually, since it's been so long since I've seen it, all my hate for it has worn away. I still think it's a really dumb show =D, but generally I find it hard to continually bear a grudge

WHEEEEE!!!

The Jump Festa OAV....just like the title says. Yep. It's pretty entertaining, with a match that I don't think is in the manga (?), although I prefer the subdued colors of the TV version to this. It's a little too...vibrant.

Especially the ass-stepping-on-WHEE!-look-at-the-cum-oo

*joins minority* I wondered if it was just a case of me having heard the TV version first. Irino Miyu's voice has been growing on me lately, though.
Downloaded some Cutey Honey songs. Looking forward to the other 2 thirds of reviews! (Your anime-watching productivity rate is very high. XD)
Last year was special. I'm already starting to fall behind in a lot of stuff this year.
Took a couple of songs here and there, thanks! The MADLAX songs are really good.
I did too, except I never subscribed. I'm picky though, and the average "cute" shoujo romance (especially the Ribon ones) are dull as hell at best and make me feel queasy at worst.

aksdjfhl; I need to finish Melody of Oblivion. It's really scary how I forget things that I meant to do. I've watched a number of the ones you've listed here, but I can't believe that Genshiken and Koi Kaze are the only ones I finished. Oh, and I may be stealing a couple songs later. Thanks. =D
Ummm. Post more reviews!
I'll maybe look for the doujin anthology with the Hyoutei D2 strip in it later
if I don't forget.Heh, I'll probably forget before you do.
The Ishida character who sings in Genshiken, does he sing a lot? XDDDD And I want to watch Boukyaku no Senritsu now.
I was reading this between classes in the library, and people are looking at me like I'm on crack because I'm laughing my ass off!
Love your reviews!
I guess I'll give it a shot.
It kinda sorta almost sounds similar to Tide-Line Blue in a goofy sort of way. Maybe.
Or maybe that's the lack of sleep talking...
Although I may be in the minority, but your review of Sensitive Pornograph makes me want to look up the anime and just watch it for laffs.
Heh, I wasn't even able to get through one episode of Pitaten. I think I dropped it after ten minutes into the first episode? Good to hear I wasn't missing much. =_= And Hor just made MoO, man. Also, damn, these MADLAX songs are really pretty. Thanks!
Genshiken
New season? Awesome. I was considering buying the manga to see the fangirl but...eh, too expensive.
Includes an Ishida Akira character. Who sings. That was special.
HAYNOW. That doesn't count since he also says something like "poop-nyo."
Now and Then, Here and There
Ah, memories. All my favorite characters died...they're probably the same as yours, though. I watched this a couple of years ago and for some reason my strongest memories of it are "grapefruit" and "abortion with rock." Oh man, I wanna rent this over the weekend.
Aishiteruze Baby
Ahahaha. That third picture made me say "ew" out loud. Never seen the show but Yuzuyu sucks just because I'm tired of people on GFs talking about how cute she is.
Sensitive Pornograph
Oh Gaawwwd. Lame gay porn/10. The first two dudes have the same haircut, and the guy in the second story looks like a Rei Ayanami clone.
...I'm never going to be able to watch that scene again without laughing my ass off now. I'm not even sure why it's so funny, as that's exactly what it was.
Yuzuyu is galjglasjdga Satan spawn. DIE DIE DIE.
Raping Lesbian and mechas! What could go wrong? ;P
*incoherent*
Though to be honest, I'd rather rewatch KnM than finish some other shows I'm watching (OMG LAMUNE).
Drop it! Drop it now!
HATED Kannazuki--how dare you insult my eyes by putting screencaps up?!
though Souma was a cutieI never got around to watching the Aishiteruze Baby anime. Looks like the character designs are too scrawny.
Now I want to watch Sensitive Pornograph. To be utterly honest, I thought the title was Engrish for an old record player. :P~~~
I couldn't get through Now Then... (I'm even too lazy to write out the entire title).
You also reminded me that I never finished watching Meine Leibe.
Hmm.. The Japanese version of Street Figther had a boxer character named "M. Bison", which was obviously way too similar to a certain fellow named Mike Tys*n, so they switched a bunch of names around for the US vers (I don't know why they switched more than 2 of the names though, that's just DUMB ayarr).
INCESTT AAAHH. I wonder if I only think it's wrong because I have a brother and sister *curls up in the corner and cries*
I think I'm sold on 'Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku' with that wineglass raburabu screencap...
